Highgate Hotels in Erie, PA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to drive profitability and guest satisfaction while leading a multi-department team. You will oversee sales efforts, budgeting, and staff development to ensure Highgate standards are met.

The ideal candidate has 5–6 years of hotel management experience, strong communication skills, and a track record of coaching managers. This is a full-time role based on-site with opportunities for growth within the Regional Operations network.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years progressive hotel experience or equivalent management background.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple departments and deadlines.
• Experience with budgeting and financial review processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive hotel profitability through revenue generation and cost control.
• Lead sales efforts, meetings with clients, and on-site coordination.
• Oversee daily operations and department head performance.
• Coordinate budget processes and financial reviews with managers.
• Coach and develop managers; participate in MOD coverage as needed.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and compliance with SOPs and standards.
• Forecast monthly financial position and reforecast as needed.
• Attend required meetings and training; maintain attendance and appearance.
