Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Hyatt Place San Jose Downtown. You will supervise departments, boost revenue, control costs, and lead teams to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Ideal candidates have five+ years in hotel ops with supervisory experience and certifications in Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid. This role offers a competitive benefits package and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressive hotel experience (Rooms or F&B) or relevant degree with supervisory background.
• Supervisory experience required and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Must hold or obtain Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple departments and drive hotel profitability with the GM.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges to keep daily flow smooth.
• Recruit, hire, and train Guest Services staff; develop teams through programs.
• Maintain clear communication with colleagues and guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Analyze financial data and support hotel operations with reporting.
• Utilize Windows-based systems for reporting and management tasks.
• Set professional standards for appearance and grooming.
