Job summary

SpringHill Suites Waco is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily hotel operations, supervise multiple departments, and partner with the General Manager to boost profitability while ensuring top-tier guest experiences.

You will recruit and train Guest Services staff, manage financial data, and uphold brand standards. The role demands strong communication, problem-solving, and a customer-first mindset to create memorable hospitality moments.

Qualifications

Five years of progressive hotel experience (Rooms or F&B) or a four-year degree with 2–3 years, or a two-year degree with 3–4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee multiple departments and drive hotel profitability by leading teams and partnering with the General Manager.
Proactively identify and address challenges to ensure smooth daily operations.
Recruit, hire, and train Guest Services staff and develop teams through programs and training.
Listen actively, communicate clearly with colleagues and guests, and resolve issues.
Work with financial data to support hotel operations and reporting.
Utilize Windows OS for management and reporting purposes.
Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards in line with company guidelines.
Foster a friendly, service-focused atmosphere to delight guests and teammates.
