Job summary

Riot Hospitality Group in Scottsdale is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Hand Cut Chophouse Scottsdale to lead daily restaurant operations, supervise front and back of house, and drive guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate has 1+ years in leadership in a busy dining venue and strong focus on service quality.

Responsibilities include staff scheduling, hiring/training, safety compliance, and optimizing labor costs to support profitability and growth.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
1+ years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred.
Food and liquor certifications required.
Knowledge of front- and back-of-house operations, service standards and safety protocols.
Strong leadership and people-management skills; ability to motivate teams.

Responsibilities

Support and manage daily restaurant operations (FOH/BOH).
Collaborate with General Manager to maintain service standards and food quality.
Create and manage staff schedules and staffing coverage.
Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring team members.
Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness regulations are followed.
Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints to ensure an outstanding dining experience.
Monitor labor costs and contribute to profitability.
