Courtyard by Marriott Champaign is seeking a proactive Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee maintenance, F&B, safety, and adherence to policies while driving financial performance and staff development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to set goals, motivate teams, and provide performance feedback.
• Understanding of P&L, revenue, and management principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Inspire: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and service standards.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee maintenance, landscaping, work areas, food and beverage, safety, and compliance; report to the GM as needed.
• Financial Stewardship: Maintain accurate financial records, understand P&L, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Team Development: Motivate, coach staff to achieve goals and maintain high performance.
• Guest Experience: Provide outstanding guest service with a guest-focused mentality.
• Problem Solving: Address escalated guest issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
