Job summary

Taco Bell Corp. is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager, uphold brand standards, and inspire the team to deliver unforgettable customer experiences.

In this role, you’ll manage daily operations in the GM’s absence, drive growth, and lead by example through training, coaching, and recognizing staff. Expect a 50-hour week with overtime and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant/retail management experience.
• Assist with P&L management by following cash control and inventory procedures.
• Ensure all employees receive proper training and resources.
• Champion Taco Bell's culture and values, promoting equity, inclusion, and belonging.
• Identify and recruit exceptional talent, supporting the GM in hiring.
• Strong communication skills for performance appraisals and disciplinary actions.
• Adhere to food safety standards and corporate policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations in the GM's absence.
• Train, coach, and recognize team members to deliver great customer experiences.
• Oversee MIC Success Routine and Shift Excellence responsibilities.
• Collaborate with GM on performance feedback and employee relations.
• Assist in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring Team Members.
• Support with cash control, inventory maintenance, and labor management.
• Review financial reports and take actions to optimize performance.
• Ensure health and safety standards are consistently followed.
