Job summary

Caribou Coffee is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to develop future leaders and drive growth across the store and district. This growth role partners with the General Manager to run the operation and foster a strong team and community.

The AGM will lead with a customer‑obsessed mindset, rehearse core values, manage cash handling, inventory, and administrative tasks, and progress toward store GM level within a year through hands‑on coaching and problem solving.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of restaurant/retail experience with strong customer service support.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates the doing of Team Member and Shift Leader with enthusiasm and excellence.
• Develops understanding of the business to a General Manager level within a year.
• Creates connections that foster joy and lasting relationships with customers and staff.
• Leads problem resolution with calm professionalism and active listening.
• Manages cash handling and store funds during shifts and enforces policies.
• Oversees inventory, ordering, and rotation to control waste and dates.
• Connects daily tasks to overall business success and P&L performance.
