Job summary

Caribou Coffee is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to grow with the leadership team and develop future store leaders. This growth role partners with the General Manager to run the store, meet sales goals, and positively impact the team and community.

The AGM will focus on teaching the business, deploying effective solutions, and modeling Caribou’s core values while advancing toward broader leadership responsibilities within the district and brand.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of restaurant/retail experience with strong customer service.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates the doing of Team Member and Shift Leader with enthusiasm and excellence
• Develops understanding of the business to GM level within a year
• Creates connections with guests and teaches the team to do the same
• Drives sales goals through speed and service
• Leads on problem resolution with calm professionalism
• Manages store funds and enforces cash-handling policies
• Oversees inventory, waste control, and stock rotation
• Aligns daily tasks with overall business success
• Maintains a growth mindset and seeks ongoing feedback
