Job summary

Ritchie Station Residence Inn by Marriott in Capitol Heights, MD seeks an experienced Full Time Management professional to lead hotel operations. You will supervise staff, ensure service standards, oversee training, and maintain records while delivering strong guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of management experience in Select Service or Extended Stay properties
• Brand experience preferred
• Knowledge of inventories, scheduling and ordering
• Valid Driver’s License
• Associates degree or equivalent education preferred

Responsibilities

• Assign duties to staff and monitor performance per hotel policies and procedures.
• Provide brand-specific and safety training to team members.
• Select hotel staff and complete all new hire paperwork.
• Review employee performance and manage disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain records including cash flow sheet, registration and reservations data.
• Handle guest complaints and employee issues; perform duties of General Manager in their absence.
• Assist with sales and marketing efforts and respond to group and travel agent requests.
