Job summary

Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe in Nashville, TN is seeking experienced managers to lead daily restaurant operations, drive cost control, and mentor staff. This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a clear path to ownership.

Responsibilities include overseeing P&L, ensuring food safety, training team, and delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment with no late-night shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of management experience.
• Must obtain a Food Manager’s certification shortly after starting employment.
• Knowledge of P&L and cost-control practices.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to train and motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Review store’s P&L and assist in scheduling to reach cost goals.
• Master menu knowledge and product details.
• Serve guests and build connections.
• Be responsible for the restaurant and the team working.
• Set the shift tone and give clear directions to staff.
• Supervise and mentor staff; manage quality crew development, motivation, training and evaluations.
• Support or work stations when needed (kitchen included).
• Assist the GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Follow proper cash handling and payment procedures.
• Maintain Health Department Standards throughout each shift.
• Follow Alcohol Handling policies and procedures.
• Proper food handling and storage of food products.
• Maintain proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing your store’s P&L, assisting in scheduling, and following the GM’s direction to reach cost goals
• Mastering menu and product knowledge
• Serving guests, making meaningful connections with them
• Being responsible for the restaurant and the team working
• Setting the tone for the shift, and giving clear, calm directions to your staff about their duties
• Supervising and mentoring your staff members and managing quality crew development, motivation, training and evaluations
• Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included)

• Prior knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred
• Working knowledge of Google Suite and computer literacy
• Strong work ethic, desire to exceed guests’ expectations, and a real passion for fresh food
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Your Working Conditions/ Hours

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 7am - 4pm*
• Mid shift - 10am - 8pm*
• Evenings - 3pm - 10pm*
• Weekends - when applicable
• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
