Job summary

Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe in Huntsville, AL seeks an experienced restaurant manager to lead daily operations, oversee P&L, scheduling, and cost controls, while delivering guest-focused service.

You’ll master our menu, mentor staff, and set the tone for the shift. This full-time role offers a clear career path, zero late nights, and a supportive environment for growth in a fast-paced, customer-driven setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of management experience
• Must be 21 years of age
• Food Manager’s certification shortly after starting employment
• Prior knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred
• Strong work ethic and passion for fresh food
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Leads a team and sets goals for staff
• Ability to train, retain, and motivate quality employees

Responsibilities

• Review store P&L, assist scheduling, and follow GM’s direction to reach cost goals
• Master menu and product knowledge
• Serving guests, making meaningful connections with them
• Being responsible for the restaurant and the team working
• Setting the tone for the shift, and giving clear, calm directions to staff about their duties
• supervising and mentoring staff and managing quality crew development, motivation, training and evaluations
• Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included)
• Assist the GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees
• Following proper cash handling and payment procedures
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
• Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
• Proper food handling and storage of food products
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance

Your Working Conditions/ Hours

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 7am - 4pm*
• Mid shift - 10am - 8pm*
• Evenings - 3pm - 10pm*
• Weekends - when applicable
• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
