Job summary

Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe is seeking an experienced restaurant manager to oversee daily operations in our Franklin, TN location. You will lead the team, manage budgeting and cost controls, and ensure exceptional guest experiences and food safety standards across shifts.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of management experience, strong leadership, and a passion for fresh food. This role offers a growth path, comprehensive benefits, and a welcoming team atmosphere in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 1–3 years management experience.
• Must obtain a Food Manager’s certification shortly after beginning employment.

Responsibilities

• Review store’s P&L, assist in scheduling, and follow GM guidance to reach cost goals.
• Master menu and product knowledge; supervise and mentor staff.
• Serve guests, build meaningful connections, and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Be responsible for restaurant and team performance; set shift tone and provide clear directions.
• Supervise and mentor staff, manage quality, training, and evaluations.
• Support or work at stations when needed (including kitchen) and assist in interviewing and onboarding.
• Follow cash handling procedures and health department standards; ensure proper food handling and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing your store’s P&L, assisting in scheduling, and following the GM’s direction to reach cost goals
• Mastering menu and product knowledge
• Serving guests, making meaningful connections with them
• Being responsible for the restaurant and the team working
• Setting the tone for the shift, and giving clear, calm directions to your staff about their duties
• Supervising and mentoring your staff members and managing quality crew development, motivation, training and evaluations
• Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included)
• Assist the GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees
• Following proper cash handling and payment procedures
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
• Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
• Proper food handling and storage of food products
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age
• Minimum of 1-3 years management experience
• Prior knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred
• Working knowledge of Google Suite and computer literacy
• Strong work ethic, desire to exceed guests’ expectations, and a real passion for fresh food
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Your Working Conditions/ Hours

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 7am - 4pm*
• Mid shift - 10am - 8pm*
• Evenings - 3pm - 10pm*
• Weekends - when applicable
• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
