Job summary

Taziki’s Café is seeking a management professional to lead a busy restaurant in Tennessee. This full-time role emphasizes P&L oversight, staffing, and coaching a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will master menu knowledge, supervise operations, and ensure health, safety, and service standards are met. Qualified candidates bring 1–3 years of management experience, leadership ability, and a commitment to high-quality fresh food.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 1-3 years management experience.
• Prior knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred.
• Working knowledge of Google Suite and computer literacy.
• Strong work ethic, desire to exceed guests’ expectations, and a real passion for fresh food.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing your store’s P&L, assisting in scheduling, and following the GM’s direction to reach cost goals
• Mastering menu and product knowledge
• Serving guests, making meaningful connections with them
• Being responsible for the restaurant and the team working
• Setting the tone for the shift, and giving clear, calm directions to your staff about their duties
• Supervising and mentoring your staff members and managing quality crew development, motivation, training and evaluations
• Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included)
• Assist the GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees
• Following proper cash handling and payment procedures
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
• Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
• Proper food handling and storage of food products
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance

Your Working Conditions/ Hours

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 7am - 4pm*
• Mid shift - 10am - 8pm*
• Evenings - 3pm - 10pm*
• Weekends - when applicable
• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
