Job summary

Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe in Mount Juliet, TN is seeking full-time managers who will lead daily operations, review store P&L, and assist the GM in achieving cost targets.

You will master menu and product knowledge, supervise a team, ensure exceptional guest service, and uphold health, safety and sanitation standards. This role offers a clear career path towards ownership in a supportive, busy environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 1-3 years of management experience.
• Profit and Loss knowledge preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Working knowledge of Google Suite and computer literacy.
• Strong work ethic and guest-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Review store’s P&L and assist in scheduling to reach cost goals.
• Master menu and product knowledge.
• Lead and coach staff to deliver guest satisfaction.
• Set shift tone and give clear directions to staff.
• Mentor and develop team; manage training and evaluations.
• Assist GM with interviewing, onboarding and training new employees.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing your store’s P&L, assisting in scheduling, and following the GM’s direction to reach cost goals
• Mastering menu and product knowledge
• Serving guests, making meaningful connections with them
• Being responsible for the restaurant and the team working
• Setting the tone for the shift, and giving clear, calm directions to your staff about their duties
• Supervising and mentoring your staff members and managing quality crew development, motivation, training and evaluations
• Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included)
• Assist the GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees
• Following proper cash handling and payment procedures
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
• Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
• Proper food handling and storage of food products
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age
• Minimum of 1-3 years management experience
• Prior knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred
• Working knowledge of Google Suite and computer literacy
• Strong work ethic, desire to exceed guests’ expectations, and a real passion for fresh food
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Your Working Conditions/ Hours

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 7am - 4pm*
• Mid shift - 10am - 8pm*
• Evenings - 3pm - 10pm*
• Weekends - when applicable
• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
