Job summary

Taziki's Café is seeking dedicated restaurant managers in Huntsville to lead daily operations with a focus on guest service and team leadership. This full-time role involves overseeing P&L, scheduling, and ensuring product quality while maintaining brand standards.

You will train staff, manage daily shifts, and uphold health and safety policies. The position offers robust benefits, a flexible schedule, and growth toward ownership within a thriving Mediterranean concept.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Minimum 1–3 years management experience.
• Prior knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred.
• Working knowledge of Google Suite and computer literacy.
• Leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
• Must obtain a Food Manager’s certification shortly after beginning employment.

Responsibilities

• Review store’s P&L, assist in scheduling, and follow GM’s direction to reach cost goals.
• Master menu and product knowledge.
• Serve guests and build meaningful connections.
• Be responsible for the restaurant and the team on shift.
• Set the tone for the shift and give clear directions to staff.
• Supervise and mentor staff, manage quality and training.
• Support or work stations as needed (kitchen included).
• Assist GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Follow cash handling and payment procedures.
• Maintain Health Department Standards throughout shifts.
• Follow Alcohol Handling policies and procedures.
• Proper food handling and storage of products.
• Maintain hygiene, uniform, and appearance.

Management Positions are Full Time only.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing your store’s P&L, assisting in scheduling, and following the GM’s direction to reach cost goals
• Mastering menu and product knowledge
• Serving guests, making meaningful connections with them
• Being responsible for the restaurant and the team working
• Setting the tone for the shift, and giving clear, calm directions to your staff about their duties
• Supervising and mentoring your staff members and managing quality crew development, motivation, training and evaluations
• Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included)

Your Working Conditions/ Hours:

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 7am - 4pm*
• Mid shift - 10am - 8pm*
• Evenings - 3pm - 10pm*
• Weekends - when applicable
• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
