Border Foods LLC is hiring an Assistant Manager in Verona, WI. You will oversee the entire restaurant, lead a strong team, and ensure safe, friendly service with great food.

This role emphasizes accountability, integrity, and career growth within a people-first culture. Expect a demanding schedule (roughly 50 hours/week) with opportunities for bonuses up to $20,000 annually, GED/tuition support, scholarships, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant or retail experience.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early morning, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• This non-exempt management position requires at least 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certified, 18 years or older, valid driver's license and insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team.
• Ensure customers receive great food and a friendly experience.
• Lead and develop team members, ensuring standards and safety.
• Manage scheduling, labor and cash handling in alignment with policies.
