Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations, coach crew, and deliver the legendary Southern hospitality. You’ll lead shifts, ensure fast, accurate service, and foster a positive team culture.

The AGM will help with hiring, onboarding, and training while monitoring food quality, safety, and costs. This role requires a hands-on, people-first leader ready to work flexible shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of restaurant or retail management experience (QSR a plus).
• People-first leadership style with hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with great food.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support daily restaurant operations from front counter to back of house.
• Lead shifts with speed, accuracy, and top-tier guest experiences.
• Coach and develop team members to hit service and performance goals.
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness.
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability.
