Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help the General Manager run daily store operations effectively. This role provides an entry path into management with a focus on learning how to supervise, coach, and develop shifts while delivering excellent customer service.

You will lead a team in a fast-paced environment, ensure compliance with brand standards, manage cash, and maintain strong guest relations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in quick-service restaurant or similar management role.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proven leadership abilities and ability to motivate a team.
• Ability to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and shift supervisors across the store.
• Act in the absence of the general manager when needed.
• Motivate staff and maintain positive morale during busy periods.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards and store cleanliness.
• Handle cash management and daily reporting per company directives.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with spot counts and checks.
