Job summary

CAVA is hiring an Assistant General Manager in Orlando to translate our mission and values into exceptional guest experiences. You will work with the General Manager on store action plans, financial metrics, and developing Team Members, while managing schedules, forecasting, labor, and inventory.

You will lead with strong service standards, coach staff, ensure food safety, and support budget adherence. This role requires flexibility, leadership, and a commitment to hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant/hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Able to adapt to changing circumstances and improve performance.
• Experience managing budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of legal, health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Willing to work nights/weekends and travel as needed.
• Generous and friendly demeanor with guests.
• Able to complete tasks within established timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in daily operations, including opening/closing.
• Ensure adherence to food quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training and feedback.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Member issues to maintain a positive work environment.
• Enhance guest experience by upholding service standards and addressing concerns.
• Lead by example in customer service and motivate the team.
• Support with financial reporting, budgets, and performance analysis.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and financial records.
• Oversee food safety practices and team training.
• Handle administrative tasks like inventory and records.
