Job summary

Paris Baguette - Support Office (East) is seeking a General Manager in New York to lead cafe operations and staff across the portfolio. You will drive guest experience, oversee food and beverage quality, and ensure financial performance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include budgeting, labor control, coaching, training, and ensuring safety standards while delivering the brand's mission of joyful neighborhood bakery café experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent plus 2-3 years of general management.
• At least 2-3 years of progressive management experience with staff supervision.
• Experience with POS register systems.
• Strong profit and loss, sales and marketing skills.
• Flexible, adaptive, open and visible work style with cross-functional collaboration.
• Passion for people and developing teams.
• Brand ambassador with knowledge of Paris Baguette's mission and culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor financial operational plans and budgets.
• Schedule and manage day-to-day cafe operations and staffing.
• Lead multiple departments, review P&L and drive revenue growth.
• Hire, train, and support cafe management and staff.
• Provide coaching and performance reviews for direct reports.
• Oversee staff training on guest service, F&B, and safety.
• Maintain high staff morale and cross-team communication.
• Address HR and loss prevention issues and ensure safety.
• Build guest relations and resolve complaints.
• Develop creative strategies to increase revenue and catering sales.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Become certified in the required food safety program within 30 days.
• Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Other duties as assigned.
