Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Greenfield, WI to lead an amazing team at a neighborhood bakery-cafe. You will assist the General Manager with hiring, training, and development, while driving guest satisfaction and business growth.

You will plan staffing, manage shifts, coach and develop team members, and ensure operations meet Panera's standards for quality, service, and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of restaurant management experience.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve).
• Proven ability to drive positive results through strong business acumen.
• Ability to lead shifts in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours.
• Background check required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager by making key decisions and problem solving.
• Plan and manage staffing, shift scheduling, and people development.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and motivate team members.
• Manage team performance to meet bakery-cafe goals and guest service standards.
• Partner with the GM to develop managers and Panera values and behaviors.
• Ensure guests are delighted by food quality and service.
• Build relationships to foster long-term guest loyalty.
• Follow procedures to execute company strategies and initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with policies and regulations and ensure a safe workplace.
• Assist in managing bakery-cafe costs and inventory.
