Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking an Assistant General Counsel for Archimedes to join our legal team in Lansing, MI. You will oversee a team of attorneys and paralegals providing day-to-day legal support and strategic guidance on contracts, regulatory matters, and compliance with Navitus’ mission and values.

You will work closely with Archimedes and Navitus teams on complex vendor, client, and employment contracts, licensing issues, and policies, contributing to business growth while

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate or LLM from ABA-accredited law school required.
• Bar license in at least one US state required; Wisconsin license preferred.
• 6+ years of legal experience required.
• Direct experience within Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or health insurance industry required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal support and lead a team of attorneys and paralegals.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts; maintain and update contract templates.
• Manage licensing and regulatory requirements for Archimedes.
• Advise on legal issues related to contracts, statutes, products, employment, IP, and financial matters.
• Collaborate with Lumicera and Navitus teams to ensure compliance with law and Navitus values.
• Update policies and procedures related to Archimedes' legal needs.
• Research statutes and legal codes as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable laws to ensure ethical compliance.
• Inform development of new Archimedes initiatives from a legal perspective.
