Job summary

Thompson Dallas, part of Hyatt, is seeking an experienced front office leader to join our team through a temporary taskforce assignment supporting Front Office operations during a colleague’s leave of absence.

This is a unique opportunity for a hands‑on hospitality professional to provide leadership within a dynamic Thompson Hotels environment while contributing to the guest experience, team development, and operational success of the department.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory/management experience in Front Office, Guest Services, or Rooms Operations preferred.
• Experience in upscale/lifestyle hotel environments preferred.
• Experience with Hyatt systems strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of OPERA PMS is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily management and operation of the Front Office.
• Lead by example and uphold exceptional guest service standards.
• Conduct daily shift briefings and communicate operational information to Front Desk and Guest Services.
• Collaborate with Reservations, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and F&B to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, rates, promotions, and local attractions.
• Support upselling, World of Hyatt enrollment, guest engagement, and service enhancements.
• Ensure staffing levels meet needs and assist in training and coaching.
• Manage guest feedback and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
