Trinity Services Group is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to lead a large jail/correctional kitchen operation on-site in Florida. You will supervise food service workers, coordinate with the Food Service Director, and ensure service quality and safety, while reporting to the Food Service Director.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with at least 2 years of supervisory experience in food service.
• 3+ years in food service; ServSafe certification preferred.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
• Basic accounting and ability to prepare reports.
• Proficiency in MS Office and food service management systems.
• We prefer institutional food service or restaurant background.

Responsibilities

• Direct and train facility food service operations and staff.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective actions as needed.
• Engage with clients to communicate and build positive relationships.
• Ensure quantities prepared and served align with the site plan.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure menu adherence.
• Ensure proper storage and serving according to guidelines and health codes.
• Oversee sanitary practices and compliance with health inspections.
• Handle other duties as assigned by supervision.
