Responsibilities

The Assistant Facility Administrator (AFA) oversees daily clinic operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and achievement of clinical and financial goals. Working closely with the Facility Administrator (FA), physicians, nurses, and staff, the AFA promotes best practices, manages finances, compliance, and practice operations. The role includes training and mentorship for leadership development.

  • Lead daily clinic operations under the guidance of the Facility Administrator.
  • Ensure excellent patient experience and satisfaction.
  • Optimize scheduling and workflows.
  • Identify problems and develop improvement plans.
  • Monitor performance metrics and support growth strategies.
  • Assist in managing clinic profitability, including financial and operational reporting.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain standards and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Participate in quality, safety, and risk management activities.
  • Lead safety drills and emergency preparedness.
  • Conduct staff meetings and clinic audits.
  • Manage clinic supplies, facilities, and equipment.
  • Address patient issues professionally and promptly.
  • Promote a positive, safe, and healthy clinic culture.
  • Supervise supply ordering and daily reconciliation procedures.
  • Support emergency management initiatives.
  • Ensure proper scheduling and referral protocols.
  • Identify access barriers and escalate as needed.
  • Provide coverage for other roles when necessary.
  • Uphold UVVC’s Core Values and Standards of Conduct.
  • Maintain PHI confidentiality per HIPAA and organizational policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
