Job description

The purpose of this position is to partner with the Facilities Management team in coordinating the completion of multiple functions related to building operations and maintenance for a commercial facility, campus, or a portfolio of buildings.

What you'll do

  • Oversee and coordinate building maintenance / repair, landscaping and janitorial work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors.
  • Respond to client inquires and concerns. Ensure timely and quality service delivery to clients. Follow-up with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform facilities inspections and prepares reports.
  • May coordinate and lead (MAC) move, add, and change activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of operating and capital budgets.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships and train vendors on work order and billing procedures. Process invoices and ensure accurate cost center coding.
  • Review periodic reports including financials and explains variances. Work with finance team to correct errors.
  • Use PC and / or PDA for work order systems, email, process and procedure training.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What you'll need

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Minimum of two years of related experience and / or training.
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience or Bachelors degree preferred with focus on business, technical or management areas.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
