Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Seattle is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to partner with the Facilities Manager, driving operational excellence across our commercial properties. You will bridge technical operations and strategic facility improvements, leading critical projects while ensuring day-to-day building performance.

The role requires 3–5 years in facility management, hands-on knowledge of MEP and BAS/BMS, and strong vendor management.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in facility management or property management in commercial real estate.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and BAS/BMS.
• Experience managing projects, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work after hours and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations and ensure building systems function efficiently.
• Lead facility improvement projects from conception to completion.
• Conduct regular property inspections and implement improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships and monitor SLAs.
• Respond to tenant service requests and participate in on-call rotation.
• Use CMMS and facility management software to track work orders and KPI reports.
• Present operational updates in meetings.
