Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Palm Desert/Indian Wells area is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the hotel’s dining outlets and In-Room Dining. You will assist with scheduling, forecasting, training, and cost controls while ensuring compliance with laws and Hyatt procedures.

You will lead hourly staff, coordinate with culinary and events teams, and uphold Hyatt brand standards to deliver authentic hospitality and memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of food & beverage management experience preferred, ideally in a hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
• Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily operations across the resort's dining outlets, including Camino Springs Market, Vista Square Kitchen, The Well bar, Palmadoro's, and In-Room Dining.
• Supporting outlet managers and supervisors in delivering consistent Hyatt service standards.
• Coaching and developing hourly colleagues to foster a positive, engaged team culture.
• Partnering with culinary, events, and front-of-house teams to support seamless service and memorable guest experiences.
• Assisting with scheduling, labor management, and cost controls.
• Supporting new concepts, seasonal activations, and property-wide initiatives.
• Upholding Hyatt brand standards and reinforcing a culture of care across all guest touchpoints.
