Job summary

Health Dimensions Group seeks an Assistant Executive Director to support the Executive Director at the Northern Nevada State Veterans Home in Sparks. The role focuses on enhancing resident care, regulatory compliance, and overall community performance in a 96-bed facility.

Ideal candidates bring a nursing or healthcare administration background with SNF leadership experience and a plan to pursue Nevada licensure. This is a hands-on, leadership-heavy position within a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
• Must be willing to obtain Nevada Nursing Facility Administrator licensure or participate in the Administrator-in-Training program.

Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Director to plan and implement operational strategies that ensure excellent resident care and community performance.
• Oversee daily operations of a 96-bed skilled nursing facility while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Provide leadership in the ED’s absence and act as ED as needed.
• Lead and collaborate with department leaders to drive quality, safety, and service excellence.
• Partner on budgets, financial reporting, and census goals to improve operational efficiency.
