Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play an essential part in the planning and execution of a wide range of events, from corporate meetings and conferences to weddings and social gatherings.

Pay Range

$1100 - $1350 weekly

Responsibilities Include

  • Assist in planning and coordinating all aspects of events from start to finish.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their event goals and requirements.
  • Research and secure vendors, such as caterers, decorators, and entertainment, ensuring they meet budget and quality standards.
  • Help create and manage event budgets, including tracking expenses and invoicing vendors.
  • Coordinate logistics including venue rental, setup and breakdown, and transportation arrangements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in event planning or a related area.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
