Join Our Team as a A Assistant Event Coordinator Think Tell Junction

Think Tell We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events, ranging from corporate meetings and conferences to social gatherings and community outreach programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing events from conception to completion.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Research and negotiate with venues and vendors to secure the best rates and services.
  • Create event timelines, checklists, and budgets to track progress and manage expenses.
  • Coordinate logistics including catering, transportation, audio-visual equipment, and décor.
  • Support on-site event management, including setup, registration, and guest relations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event planning, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in event planning or coordination, either in a professional or volunteer capacity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a diverse range of people.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with event management software.
