Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. seeks an Assistant Director to support the Dauphin County Clinic program, assisting the Program Director with hiring, training, supervising staff, and communicating weekly performance to the Director.

The role involves handling intakes, coordinating participant staffing, and ensuring delivery of services while maintaining compliance with YAP requirements. Flex hours, travel to homes and schools, and bilingual capabilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree generally preferred.
• Associate's degree accepted with commensurate experience
• Three to five years related experience/training in youth services, juvenile justice, community programs, or program development.
• At least one-year related experience/training in management/supervision.
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills; experience using an EHR system is a plus.
• Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance coverage.
• Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) skills a plus.
• Position may have non-traditional flexible hours to include evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Perform intakes and coordinate participant staffing.
• Manage delivery of participant service hours to ensure maximum and appropriate weekly services.
• Ensure compliance with YAP and referring authority requirements.
• Provide supervision and support to staff; communicate weekly performance to Director.
