Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Director to support the Program Director with hiring/training staff, supervising personnel, and reporting weekly performance. The role requires coordinating client staffing to ensure service hours comply with YAP and referring authority requirements.

Strong knowledge of child welfare, mental health, and juvenile justice is needed. Responsibilities include direct service coverage for staff and families, and collaboration on budgeting and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred; commensurate experience acceptable.
• Licensed in AR (LMSW, LCSW, LAC or LPC) required.
• At least one year managing personnel and budgets.
• Experience with at-risk youth, probation, or court liaison is a plus.
• Knowledge of database, spreadsheet, and word processing software required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; EHR system experience is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform intakes and coordinate client staffing to manage service hours.
• Support Program Director with hiring and training staff.
• Supervise staff and report weekly performance to the Director.
• Provide direct service and coverage for staff and families; including group work.
• Apply knowledge of child welfare, mental health, juvenile justice, and budgeting.
