Job summary

Ivy Tech Evansville is seeking an Assistant Director of Admissions to assist in developing and executing a recruitment plan to build relationships with prospective Ivy Tech Community College students through enrollment. This in-person role operates on the Evansville, IN campus.

The role involves on- and off-campus recruiting, travel across a 10-county area, and collaboration with local schools and organizations to increase inquiries, applications, and enrollment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Minimum of one to two years of relevant experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects.
• Excellent people skills including working successfully with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in recruiting efforts on- and off-campus including: college fairs, high school visits, information events, and community activities.
• Travel throughout the 10-county service area to engage with potential students and attend community events.
• Recruit on behalf of Ivy Tech, sharing and selling the benefits of the College to increase inquiries and applicants and move students through enrollment.
• Manage and track potential student groups using CRM; assess effectiveness and adjust based on intake and conversion data.
• Increase penetration and conversion rates of assigned schools, events, territories and dual credit populations.
• Adjust recruitment practices based on attributes of different audiences.
• Develop collaborative relationships with local schools, colleges/universities, community agencies for campus recruitment.
• Report to the Director of Admissions or appropriate campus official.
