Ivy Tech Community College is seeking an Assistant Director of Admissions in Sellersburg, IN to help develop and execute a recruitment plan that builds relationships with prospective students and supports enrollment goals.

The role involves on- and off-campus recruiting, events, and collaboration with internal departments to maximize recruitment opportunities while ensuring FERPA compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Experience in managing multiple projects.
• Excellent "people" skills including diverse populations.
• Public speaking skills.
• Previous computer experience is necessary.
• Willingness to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Participate in recruiting efforts on- and off-campus including events during days, evenings, and weekends.
• Recruit on behalf of Ivy Tech, promoting benefits to increase inquiries and applications.
• Use a CRM to track and recruit potential student groups and assess recruitment effectiveness.
• Increase penetration and conversion in assigned schools, events, territories, and dual credit populations.
• Adjust recruitment practices based on audience attributes and experiences.
• Develop collaborations with local schools, colleges/universities and community organizations.
• Coordinate with Ivy Tech personnel to optimize recruitment opportunities.
• Develop admissions and recruitment materials and disseminate them with others.
• Operate within FERPA guidelines.
