Job summary

The role includes overseeing First‑Year Experience programs, measuring outcomes with data, supervising staff, and building partnerships to foster an inclusive, student‑centered environment that helps diverse learners thrive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to student services or higher education.
• 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in higher education, student affairs, or related fields.
• Experience developing, managing, or assessing programs that promote student success, retention, or access to support services.
• Experience supervising staff, student employees, or coordinating team responsibilities.
• Experience collecting and using data or assessments to evaluate program effectiveness and guide improvements.
• Experience building partnerships and managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Ivy Cares, developing wraparound services to address basic needs and barriers to student success.
• Lead student success initiatives, including First‑Year Experience programming and targeted interventions for at‑risk populations.
• Supervise staff and student employees, conduct evaluations, and support professional development.
• Collaborate with campus departments and community partners to coordinate integrated support.
• Establish goals, monitor participation and outcomes, and report on program effectiveness.
• Develop budgets, manage resources, and pursue grant/funding opportunities.
• Participate in committees and promote awareness of campus programs and resources.
