Job summary

Learning Care is hiring an Assistant Director to oversee the safe and effective operation of the school, collaborating with the School Director to ensure high standards of care and compliance with licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least 2 years of assistant director experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Associates Degree in ECE or related field is preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• Must have the North Carolina director credential level 1, 2, or 3

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school.
