Job summary

White Oak Manor of Tryon is looking for an experienced RN to join our leadership team as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) / Safety Nurse. You will support daily operations, oversee resident safety programs, and promote clinical excellence throughout our 70-bed skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and 18-bed assisted living community.

This hands-on nursing leader role emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and high-quality resident care with a Monday–Friday schedule and a competitive compensation

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NC or multi-state)
• Nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with daily operations, staffing, and clinical oversight.
• Lead fall prevention initiatives, incident investigations, and safety interventions.
• Conduct clinical audits, safety rounds, and regulatory compliance reviews.
• Coach, mentor, and support nursing personnel to strengthen clinical performance.
• Monitor care plans, safety assessments, and resident care practices.
• Assist with direct resident care as needed and participate in on-call coverage.
