White Oak of Newberry is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to fill the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) position. This full-time salaried role includes a $7,500 sign-on bonus for the right candidate and oversees the nursing department in a skilled nursing setting.

The facility recently renovated and features a Memory Care Unit, offering a supportive environment with a strong team of RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and corporate nursing consultants to support success.

Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.
• Long-term care and supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of relevant Federal, State, and local regulations for long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and managing the overall operation of the nursing department in accordance with facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide leadership and support to nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Collaborate with directors and other departments to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality improvement initiatives.
• Foster a positive and safe environment for residents, families, and staff.

We have a strong team of exceptional RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, as well as a team of corporate nursing consultants dedicated to ensuring your success. Our nurse managers excel in their roles and provide consistent and valuable support for the Director of Nursing.

• The ideal candidate is flexible,innovative,andexhibitsstrong leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, customer service and organizational skills
• Must relate professionally with residents, staff, family members, referral sources, physicians, and vendors
• Assists in coordinatingand managingoverall operation of the nursing department in accordance with facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory bodies
• Qualifications include a current RN license, excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and work well with others
