Job summary

White Oak of Newberry is seeking a motivated RN to fill the Assistant Director of Nursing position. The ADON helps to oversee the nursing department for our skilled nursing facility.

This is a full time salaried position with a $7500 sign on bonus for the right candidate. Our newly renovated building and Memory Care Unit provide a pleasant working environment with strong support from RNs, LPNs, CNAs and corporate nursing consultants.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Long-term care supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local long-term care regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage overall operation of the nursing department.
• Support and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality care.
• Collaborate with Director to meet regulatory standards.
• Foster teamwork with residents, families, and referral sources.

This is an exciting time to be a partner of the White Oak of Newberry team! Our newly renovated building and beautiful new Memory Care Unit provide a pleasant working environment. We have a strong team of exceptional RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, as well as a team of corporate nursing consultants dedicated to ensuring your success. Our nurse managers excel in their roles and provide consistent and valuable support for the Director of Nursing.

• The ideal candidate is flexible,innovative,andexhibitsstrong leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, customer service and organizational skills
• Must relate professionally with residents, staff, family members, referral sources, physicians, and vendors
• Assists in coordinatingand managingoverall operation of the nursing department in accordance with facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory bodies
• Qualifications include a current RN license, excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and work well with others
• Long term care and supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledgeable in the interpretation of Federal, State, and local regulations relating to long-term care facilities
