Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing by guiding licensed and non-licensed staff to ensure high-quality resident care. This role also serves as acting DON in the absence of the director and oversees infection control, safety programs, and staff development.

Responsibilities include coordinating orientation, training, competency evaluations, and in-house education; maintaining confidentiality; contributing to policy

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in Minnesota with knowledge of safety and infection prevention.
• Flexible hours; ability to work independently and with or without accommodation.
• Preferred healthcare or skilled nursing experience; able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Strong English communication, active listening, and rapport-building with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing by directing licensed and non-licensed staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Serve as acting DON in the Director's absence.
• Oversee occupational health, staff development, infection control, and safety programs.
• Coordinate orientation, hands-on training, evaluations, and in-house education.
