Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing, supervise licensed and non‑licensed staff, and ensure high‑quality resident care.

The ADON leads safety programs, coordinates orientation and training, oversees infection control, and participates in quality improvement while upholding confidentiality and the Residents' Bill of Rights. We offer competitive pay and benefits in a Minnesota network.

Qualifications

• Must be a Minnesota-licensed Registered Nurse with knowledge in safety, infection prevention, disaster preparedness and teaching staff.
• Strong computer skills and flexibility in working hours; ability to work independently and perform essential duties.
• Preferred experience in healthcare or skilled nursing with ability to manage multiple tasks and remain composed.

Responsibilities

• Direct licensed and non-licensed staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Act as the DON in the DON's absence and supervise safety and staff development functions.
• Coordinate orientation, hands-on training, competency evaluations and in-house education.
• Support safety programs, participate in policy development and quality initiatives.
• Uphold confidentiality, promote a positive workplace, and ensure compliance with regulations.
