Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

A Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for a talented and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our growing team.

Job Description:
  1. Assist the DON in planning, organizing, and directing the Nursing Department.
  2. Identify the needs, problems, and progress of nursing services and make recommendations for improvement.
  3. Enforce policies and provide guidance.
  4. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Administrator and DON.
  5. Work as weekend Supervisor as part of the Department head monthly rotation.
  6. Conduct regular rounds to monitor the delivery of nursing care.
  7. Coordinate and manage administrative functions related to nursing services.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
  2. Ability to make independent decisions and mature judgments.
  3. Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the Nursing Department.

Salary:
