Fairfield Cc Assistant Director of Nursing role seeks an experienced RN to support the Director in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the nursing service department's policies and operations.

The incumbent will supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, participate in quality care plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with dietary, social services, and activities teams to deliver comprehensive resident care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in the state.
• Experience in geriatric/nursing care settings preferred.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the nursing service department's policies, procedures, and operations.

• Participate in the development and implementation of quality care plans, including resident assessments, care plans, and treatment plans.

• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.

• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
