Job summary

Traditions of Beavercreek is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Wellness Director with staffing and scheduling in our assisted living community in Beavercreek, Ohio. The ADON will help create schedules across all nursing areas, work closely with the nursing team, and implement creative strategies to fill open shifts.

Strong communication and computer literacy are essential. Candidates with prior ADON experience in assisted living are preferred and must be willing to

• Prior ADON experience in an assisted living setting preferred.
• Must be able to develop schedules for all nursing areas.
• Detail oriented with strong computer and communication skills.
• Able to work collaboratively with the nursing team.
• On-call availability may be required.

Assistant Director of Nursing Duties and Responsibilities

• Recent experience as an ADON in an assisted living community preferred
• Will assist the Wellness Director with all the scheduling needs and work directly with them
• Must be able to do schedules for all areas of the nursing department
• Should be able to work in collaboration with the entire nursing team
• Must be able to fill open positions on the schedule with current staff through creative methods
• Must be detail oriented, computer literate and have excellent communication skills
• Should have great 'people skills'
• Should be able to be okay to be ‘on-call’
