Saugus Rehab is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead nursing teams, manage schedules, and drive quality patient care in a compliant healthcare setting.

The ADON will oversee onboarding, performance coaching, budgeting, and staff communications, while conducting rounds and review of patient records to ensure accuracy and optimal care delivery.

• Hiring new nurses and overseeing the onboarding process by training them or assigning them to a trainer
• Creating schedules to ensure that departments have adequate nursing coverage for every shift
• Coaching nurses to improve performance and handling discipline issues
• Monitoring expenses to ensure that the facility operates within budgetary constraints
• Holding staff meetings to discuss patient status
• Conducting employee evaluations that identify nurses' strengths and areas of improvement
• Making rounds to assess patient status and observe nurses
