Grande Shores Resort in Myrtle Beach is seeking an Assistant Director of Housekeeping to implement policies and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and public areas operations. You will lead a team to achieve immaculate cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

You will train staff, assist with budget and inventory, coordinate with leadership, perform inspections, and address guest issues. This role requires scheduling, hiring, data interpretation, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an Assistant Director of Housekeeping or Assistant Housekeeping Manager.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of inventories, scheduling, and productivity.
• Proficient with computers and common software (Outlook, Word, spreadsheets).

Responsibilities

• Train new and current staff.
• Assist in managing department budget and inventory control.
• Coordinate with hotel's administration to set clear expectations and align goals.
• Perform inspections.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and effectively.
• Conduct hiring for the department using an online platform and interviews.
• Interpret data to meet property goals, budget, and compliance requirements.
• Prepare staff schedules according to business demands.
• Maintain inventory of guestrooms and housekeeping supplies.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Follow all safety and security policies and procedures.
