The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong communication, and a proven track in healthcare housekeeping with leadership potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history required.
• Solid understanding of housekeeping procedures preferred.
• Demonstrated progressive growth in health care housekeeping facility maintenance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening and empathy, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to apply a participative approach to managing staff and budgets.
• Strong stress management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and leads all operational needs of the Housekeeping Department with the Director.
• Coordinate tasks of Operations Managers to deliver service levels.
• Serve as liaison between administration and hospital departments.
• Establish standards and work procedures for housekeeping staff.
• Plan schedules and job duties to ensure adequate services.
• Interview, hire, evaluate, and terminate staff per standards.
• Orient, train, and supervise staff; conduct regular inspections.
• Assist with budgets and inventory management.
