Job summary

Crothall Healthcare seeks an Assistant Director to support the Director of Environmental Services in leading the hospital housekeeping operation. You will coordinate the work of Operations Managers and serve as a liaison between administration and hospital departments to deliver exceptional service.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in healthcare housekeeping leadership; salary is $63,000–$67,000 per year with annual bonus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and develop housekeeping staff while maintaining service quality.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and reviews standards for all Housekeeping staff.
• Plans work schedules, areas of responsibility, and duties to ensure adequate services.
• Interviews, hires, evaluates, and terminates staff per facility standards.
• Orients, trains, and supervises all Housekeeping staff.
• Performs regular inspections and recommends actions to improve operations.
• Coordinates with other departments through regular communications.
• Schedules major project work and ensures adequate staff and supplies.
• Maintains inventory of housekeeping supplies.
• Assists Department Director with budgets.
