Crothall Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is seeking an Assistant Director to support the Director of Environmental Services in directing the hospital housekeeping department. You will coordinate Operations Managers, liaise between administration and hospital departments, and strive to deliver the highest level of service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history required.
• Working knowledge of housekeeping procedures preferred.
• Demonstrated progressive growth in healthcare housekeeping facility maintenance.
• Strong work ethic, initiative for quality and customer service.
• Excellent written and oral communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish standards and work procedures for all Housekeeping staff.
• Plan schedules, areas of work and duties to ensure adequate services.
• Hire, evaluate and terminate staff according to facility standards.
• Orient, train and supervise housekeeping staff.
• Conduct regular inspections and action items.
• Coordinate with other departments to align activities.
• Schedule major projects and ensure resources are available.
• Inventory housekeeping supplies and manage budgets with the director.
